BLEND THE OLD & THE NEW

THE WAY I SEE TREATMENT IS THAT IT IS NOT ABOUT TECHNIQUE, RATHER IT IS ABOUT RESULT

Having undergone several trainings such as Tuina, Shiatsu, Acupuncture, Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, Mesotherapy , and other continued specializations , allows me to approach each patient as such: a unique person.

Indeed, I believe that we are made up of the combination of our own life events, how we lived through them, and precipitating factors that accumulate to form a distinct individual configuration. A multidisciplinary approach, that might as well bring Shiatsu and MRI together, allows for a tailor-made solution adapted to each person's specificity.

01/PAIN

Pain is a signal or alarm bell- it is our body's way of telling us something needs to be 'fixed'.

The untreated root cause behind the symptoms becomes a bigger pathology rather than just pain.

In this day and age, widespread access to knowledge allows facing a challenge head on from its real underlying cause, seeing further than merely the obvious symptoms. Rather than perceiving pain as a scary experience, we can begin to understand it is our ally, acting as an indicator of an imbalance that is directing us back towards our sound health. Pain is our safety net.

When the body goes into 'failure' mode, it has reached a point where it cannot activate the appropriate response on its own: this is where I intervene.

02/POWER

I have faith that the body has a perfect machinery, designed to work in seamless synchronization, tandem, unity and harmony.

-All we are doing in the treatment is to initiate and catalyze this phenomenon by creating the right circumstances, such as when an orthopedic surgeon disinfects a wound and puts two parts of a fracture back in their original alignment for the bone to consolidate.

It matters a lot to me for my patients and people struggling with acute or chronic ailments to understand the wondrous capabilities of the body and its resilient strength that always tends towards health and healing. Even very old challenges demonstrate change when worked on. A phenomenon I have both experienced and witness everyday.

03/CONTROL

By showing the patient ways they can be in tune with their body and health, they will increasingly feel on top of their life.

This process has a significant impact on our quality of life and we will hence be a better person. We complain we never have leeway to take decisions: we can feel we are controlled by parents, social frameworks, national boundaries, and natural phenomena.

This way, we are never responsible for taking decisions. We blame whatever is happening to us to external factors. When we evolve our mindset and learn to be responsible for our health, this also branches out to how we lead our life.

04/ SUSTAINING REALIGNMENT

Post treatment, sustainability is key. Old neural pathways and habits die hard. Maintenance related to lifestyle changes can be worked through here to nurture and keep exercising that newly paved flow, the same way we strengthen a muscle!

Liberating the toxins from the body is like shutting down the running applications in your mobile to improve its function.

05/TUNING

To understand how our body works can mean wondrous in depth research for some, however here I suggest that, for most of us, becoming aware of key qualities and functions of the body is enough to empower us in the healing process. These essential facts are derived from ancient medical systems and state of the art findings, to instill greater life force and balance in us as we take charge of our wellbeing.

-To approach the patient, I address him as a human being not as a 'case': Each one of us is made up of a unique combination of precipitating factors leading to ill health.
-This is why to 'access' a person's pain and to be able to treat it, i believe one needs to understand the human being in his or her own personal specifications, just like a fingerprint!

-I need to take into account his whole make up including his mind, his emotions, and his whole being to be able to administer the treatment and break through to the heart of the matter.
